Become a Supporter
How to contribute
Supporters do not become members of the Trust but play an important role in providing their practical expertise and effort when we need it to fulfil projects for which we have been given the go-ahead. Examples might be tree-planting, path clearing, and litter picking (see Our work). We also need Supporters who are just happy to sign a petition, write a good letter, or simply become our eyes and ears on the ground to see and hear what is going on in their patch. From time to time we may ask for financial support, and for feedback on our activities.
Add to our voice
Most importantly we would like to add you to a list of other like-minded people who also show they care. Many funders want to see the local community being involved, and for grant applications, we have to demonstrate that people in Cambridgeshire really do cherish their local river and valley.
Are there any benefits?
You will enjoy feeling part of a community of people dedicated to the cause and who love the landscape in which we live. Your involvement will offer you opportunities to get outside in the fresh air. You might learn a new skill. We will keep you up to date by emailing you our newsletter and invitations to events and talks where you can meet and chat to experts. And you will certainly receive a warm welcome!
What is the subscription?
There is no subscription fee for Supporters.
