WHATS ON!
This is a good location for a Hub as it is already a meeting point for walking groups every weekend. And if you are walking the whole route upstream from Earith, this is the perfect place to end and put your feet up! Or, book the free shuttle bus to take you back to Earith, or Godmanchester – details on how to do this are now on the Walk the Ouse Valley Way WOW! page.
The Wow! Day St Neots-Eaton Socon Walk
The Ouse Valley Way actually enters Cambridgeshire further upstream, towards the bottom of School Lane in Eaton Socon, where our first Information Board is sited. From Riverside Park in St Neots walk away from the town, cross the river over the pedestrian bridge and turn right onto the OVW to follow the path to Eaton Socon Lock. To make this a circular walk turn left here and the path leads you back to the bridge where you can continue back to the Hub café in the park.
The Wow! Day St Neots-Little Paxton Walk
From the Hub café follow the OVW in the other direction through the park to the next OVW Information Board, climb the steps to St Neots road bridge and enter the town. Turn left into The Priory and follow the path all the way to the Little Paxton Old Paper Mill at St Neots Lock. Turn right into Hayling Way and walk on to Paxton Pits Nature Reserve Visitor Centre, our next Hub.
